The Devil´s Throat:
A new 2080 meter (roundtrip) catwalk allows the visitor to enjoy the unique landscape before arriving at the imposing Devil´s Throat, the most impressive cascade of the falls.
The route passes several islands along the upper Iguazu and from three ample lookout points it is possible to observe the natural spectacle of the Iguazu river, and the leafy vegetation that surrounds it.
The monumental “throat” is the culmination of the route: a 150 meter long, 80 meter tall horseshoe shaped waterfall so powerful that it creates a dense cloud of vapour when its waters crash into the river below, adding further context and character to the landscape.
A separate spectacle is offered by the “vencejos” - birds unique to the Iguazu Falls that swoop down along the falls, as if they wanted to be confused with the water.
